I took a shower for this?

Has anyone had the best of intensions of getting up in the morning, actually wanting to look decent for work, get to the office and then there was no one there?  Yes, that was my predicament today.  Granted I got to work 2 hours late (had a late night but that's a whole other story) but I made it with make-up, hair done and all.  So discouraging, I could have worked from home today and enjoyed the sunny weather.  Instead I'm sitting in a closet sized office which the other side of the wall is the men's bathroom so I constantly hear toilets flushing.  This is not how I'm spending my Friday afternoon.  If anyone needs me, I'm going to be outside not listening to urinals flush.
